In-Line Valves - De-skilled Fast Installation, Ultimate Weight and Space Saving.

Eliminate 100% of the weight of traditional packages.

Eliminate 100% of the installed cost of traditional packages

  • The In-Line Valve combines a lot of low weight composite valve with a permanent flangeless connection.  The combined weight saving is approximately equal to an Ally-Bronze valve.  The In-Line valve can eliminate 100% of the installed cost of traditional packages.

  • The “In-Line Stub Valve” system has been designed to eliminate on-board hot work and adhesive jointing of both metal and GRP pipe run system. Critical connections can all be made under factory conditions, eliminating the possibility of contamination causing leaks that are time consuming to detect and repair on board. Re-work caused by adverse tolerance build up between hull and pipe components can be easily corrected on board.

  • Advanced Valve Technologies has worked closely with Teekay Couplings Limited, also leaders in their field of coupling technology, throughout the development of the system to ensure seamless customer service.

  • AVT, Teekay and its Distributors are now able to provide a single source of technical information, advice and supply throughout the world to Cruise and Leisure Fleets covering all AVT fluid control products. AVT offers the same high level of single source service even where Teekay does not have local representation.

Stub Valve - API 607, ABS and Lloyds Type Approved.

Stub Valve Body

The stub valve body is light weight, impervious to internal and external corrosion, cannot initiate galvanic corrosion, are unaffected by UV and offer a wide operating temperature.

Pipe Stubs

Pipe stubs are moulded wherever practical into the valve itself and, where that is not practical, the stub section is factory moulded into the flange. Both stub ball valves and stub flange fitted butterfly valves have been design tested to provide a 4 times margin over rated pressure and every stub product is factory tested to not less than 1.5 times rated pressure.

Tests / Approvals

AVT Valves are available that are ABS and Lloyds Type approved. The valves are also firesafe tested to API 607 standard as well as having been shock tested to the highest military standards proving their excelling impact resistance.

AVT approvals for corrosion resistant ball and butterfly valves.
