The Advanced Valve Technologies development programme has taken some 4 years to reach its present stage. Products with outstanding and consistent performance characteristics can now be reliably manufactured.

Professional Market Research is routinely undertaken to determine the current needs of a wide variety of industries where GRP pipe systems were being widely used.

To achieve result, inputs are obtained from University Centres of Excellence and the Development Departments of leading composite resin manufacturers. With such help, resin systems are re-formulated to obtain the acceptable mechanical and chemical characteristics that can be processed using Advanced Valve Technologies' advanced moulding technology.

Advanced Valve Technologies' moulding systems depend upon careful process control and good tool design refined by experience gained over a period of years.

Product design takes advantage of the experience of the Company's technical, production and sales management working with additional inputs from independent experts. Operating characteristics are carefully defined.

State of the art CAD/CAM facilities are used to optimise designs. Before proceeding to the tool design stage, the performance of the products are computer simulated and subjected to Finite Element Analysis to forecast operating results and confirm suitability for purpose.

Advanced Valve Technologies maintains that development work is a continuous process. The Company's management and its team of expert consultants continuously evaluate new directions for development with the objective of enhancing the performance of existing products and introducing new ones to meet industries needs.
